Team Heard takes great pride assisting the men and women that proudly serve our military.  As a former infantry Marine, John Heard served as a machine gun Squad Leader with C. Company, 1st Battalion 5th Marine Regiment based in Camp Pendleton California. He also served with 31st Marine Expeditionary Unit; Special Operation Capable.

John’s family has a long line of military service. Men in his family have honorably served this country in nearly every war and conflict dating back to the Civil War. His great-great grandfather, was a recipient of the Medal of Honor in the Spanish-American War of 1898 and later became a Brigadier General with the U.S. Army. John’s grandfather, Major General Jack W. Heard, served as the first commander of flying at Kelly Field in San Antonio.
